Day 1: Arrival in Yerevan:

Upon arrival at Zvartnots International Airport, guests will be met and assisted with their transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure, allowing time to relax and unwind. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 2: Half-Day Yerevan City Tour:

Breakfast at Hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, the day begins with an exploration of Yerevan, the vibrant capital of Armenia, where ancient history, rich culture, and modern life seamlessly intertwine. The city tour will showcase some of the most iconic attractions and experiences Yerevan has to offer.

The journey starts with a bus tour to the city’s most distant points, culminating at the monumental statue of Mother Armenia in Victory Park. From here, visitors will enjoy panoramic views of the entire city, offering a picturesque introduction to Yerevan.

The tour continues with a walking exploration of the small center, beginning at the Yerevan Cascade. From there, the route leads to Theater Square, home to the renowned Opera and Ballet Theatre and the charming Swan Lake, which transforms into a skating rink during the winter months.

Next, the walk proceeds to Northern Avenue, a vibrant street lined with impressive modern buildings, restaurants, cafes, and shops. The tour concludes at Republic Square, surrounded by five grand buildings that form its perimeter. The square is also famous for its singing fountains, which perform mesmerizing shows from mid-April to late October.

DAY 3 : The Arch of Charents - Garni Temple – Symphony of stones – Geghard Monastery

Breakfast in hotel.

The Arch of Charents is a popular tourist spot offering breathtaking views of the biblical Mount Ararat and the city of Yerevan. Named after the renowned Armenian poet Egishe Charents, who cherished this location for its beauty, the arch allows visitors to enjoy the scenic splendor of Armenia and capture memorable photos of their visit.

The Temple of Garni is a prime example of classical Hellenistic architecture and stands as a symbol of pre-Christian Armenia. Once a favored site for Armenian royalty, the temple's beauty is almost surreal. It is situated on a triangular promontory overlooking a deep canyon, flanked by the Azat River on two sides.

The Symphony of Stones is a mesmerizing natural formation renowned for its striking and unique beauty. Located in the Garni Gorge in Armenia, this geological marvel consists of an array of perfectly aligned basalt columns that rise dramatically from the canyon floor. These columns, shaped by volcanic activity and subsequent erosion, resemble an immense organ pipe, creating an almost musical visual effect.

St. Geghard Monastery, dating from the 12th to 13th centuries, derives its name from the spear that is said to have wounded Jesus during the Crucifixion. The monastery, partly carved into the mountain and surrounded by towering cliffs, is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Some of the monastery’s churches are hewn directly from the cliff face, while others are more elaborate, with intricate walled sections and rooms embedded in the rock. A cold spring flows from one of the cave temples, revered for its purported healing properties and believed to offer rejuvenation and beauty

Day 4: Lake Sevan and Tsaghkadzor Resort:

Lake Sevan - Endowed with “blue-eyed beauty” epithet by locals and “Armenian Riviera” by foreigners, the Lake Sevan is one of the top tourist attractions. Sevan is the largest freshwater high-altitude (alpine) lake in Eurasia. We will visit the monastery of Sevanavank (9th c.) on the top of Akhtamar peninsula as well. Perhaps this is where you will want to release a pair of pigeons - the sacred birds of Noah's Land. And then all your cherished desires will certainly come true!

Tsaghkadzor – the Gorge of Flowers is a famous ski resort in Armenia, which is also popular in summer due to its gorgeous green mountains. You can also ride a local ropeway which offers a unique opportunity to witness the changing landscapes, from the snow-covered peaks of winter to the vibrant blossoms of spring.

Day 5: Ararat Valley – Khor Virap – Areni winery with wine degustation – Noravank monastery:

Today our journey will lie to the south of Armenia along the picturesque Ararat Valley.

Our first stop is Khor Virap monastery, which is one of Armenia's most significant and picturesque historical sites, renowned for its rich history, stunning views, and religious significance which make it a memorable destination for travelers seeking to experience Armenia’s rich cultural and spiritual legacy.

One of the most compelling reasons to visit Khor Virap is its breathtaking view of Mount Ararat, which is considered a national symbol of Armenia. The combination of the ancient monastery with the backdrop of Mount Ararat makes for spectacular photography opportunities.

Then the group will have a stop in Areni winery where will try local wines during degustation.

Further our way lies along the picturesque gorge decorated with natural red and orange rocks to the fantastically beautiful monastery of Noravank. The beauty of nature will definitely take your breath away!
